There are varying degrees in quality when it comes to mohair. The higher the quality, the more processes the mohair has been through. All of the mohair that we have chosen to carry is perfect for reborning. The premium mohair is longer and a bit silkier to the touch than the mohair we call straight or with a curl. The end appearance however has to do with the rooting itself no matter what type of mohair you use. The rooting needles we sell are from Germany. These have proven nothing short of outstanding and extremely durable. Depending on the mohair you choose will determine not only which gauge you use, but how close and how many hairs you want to pick up in the fork.
